Independent network group
Referrals Incorporated is an independent networking group. We are not part of a larger franchise or cluster like many other networking groups. Our low membership fees and attendance fees stay in the group. We are not paying royalties to a franchising body.
Referrals Incorporated's aims and meeting format are similar to other networking groups but we have the flexibility and autonomy to maintain a friendly and local flavour.
Objectives
The objectives of Referrals Incorporated are to
- promote referrals between members;
- develop a large business network within the local community;
- provide support and assistance to our member's businesses;
- provide relevant advice on business issues; and
- maintain high standards of business ethics.
Meetings
We hold a breakfast meeting every week on a Tuesday at 7 a.m. for a 7:15 a.m. start. The meetings finish at 8:30 a.m. so that you do not interrupt your business's trading.
A minimum level of 75% attendance is required from each member to keep the group active and to ensure that referrals are passed on.
Although our meetings are informal we follow an agenda to ensure that our members are show-casing their businesses regularly. Each week we each give a short promotional spiel to demonstrate our business's products or services. One member each week is asked to give a longer presentation about his or her business or a particular business issue.
